Blonde, beautiful, and promiscuous Morgan has the worst luck with men – they never stay for long, not even for sex. Is Morgan’s jealous roommate sabotaging her? Or is something even more sinister keeping Morgan from getting some action?
Originally created for the Producers Guild Shorts Contest, we were given a setting/theme/elements on a Friday afternoon, and 51 hours to write, direct, edit, and submit a short film using their criteria.
 

FALLING

Clem, a crazy/beautiful Asian-American woman who robbed her parents of The American Dream by not becoming a doctor, gets stuck in an elevator with Pitbull, the local drug dealer. Alone with her thoughts and her amorous neighbor, Clem struggles to pass the time, find a way out, and ignore the erotic pull of proximity.

Part fantasy, entirely comedic, and based on a true story, FALLING is evocative of those moments in adolescence when your feelings about romance turn on a dime. Sporting plot twists that surprise and complete the story, FALLING explores sexual dynamics and unlikely connections, and challenges concepts of relationships and identity.
